Rosalia

Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. As a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. However, her singing interests have broadened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice has been described by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. The album topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The show premiered in March 2022. was launched following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
