Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic music along with older classical songs. Ana enjoys tangos and opera and dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The love she has for performing, music, and the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
